A museum built in Shibayama-nioson Kanonkyo-ji Temple in 1957 and then moved to the next to the main temple in 1996. Exhibits include clay images excavated from Hokuso area, such as Shibayama ancient tom mounds, and archaeological resources, in addition to Buddha art and historical materials being displayed at the Shakuson-kan, on the second floor, where Shakuson-on-ichidai-eden, illustrations by Hajin, is exhibited.
